Digital Space complete first Digimura install in the Heathrow Marriott Hotel

The fabulous printing and installation of Digimura 2.1 digitally-printable wallcoverings in the new "Chef’s Table" at the Heathrow Marriott Hotel

After attending a training and knowledge-share event with Papergraphics, Digital Space completed their first installation of Digimura 2.1 wallcovering at the Heathrow Marriott Hotel.

Digital Space, based in Maidenhead, carried out this fabulous print and installation project at the Heathrow Marriott hotel in their new "Chef’s Table" room, using Papergraphics’ Digimura 2.1 Façade wallcovering.

Executive Chef, Paul Quinn, who came up with the design concept, also did the fantastic photography to create this engaging and completely bespoke wallcovering design.

Digimura wallcoverings were printed on an Epson SureColor S80600.

Digital Space team, Alan and Sasha Edwards, printed the designs on their Epson SureColor S80600 and installed the entire wallcovering job for the hotel chain. Alan also made the suggestion to pick out the spot colour features in the black and white photography, really lifting the image and overall effect.

Having attended one of Papergraphics’ Wallcovering Application Training courses in September 2018, this was the first of several installations that Digital Space has undertaken in the following months. And it wasn’t the most straight-forward – with plenty of nooks and crannies to fit.

Both Paul and The Marriott expressed how delighted they were with the finished result – "a real feast for the eyes, and 'absolutely' sets off the 'Chef’s Table' experience the hotel offers" – guests can enjoy a fabulous meal while watching the culinary creations in action through the purpose-built wall-hatch.

We are creating new opportunities with Digimura digitally-printed wallcoverings.

Digital wallcoverings are a new area for Digital Space, who have been operating within the large format signage, exhibition and vehicle-wrap industry for over 20 years. Alan and Sasha both said they were excited by the new opportunities that the digitally-printed interiors market poses for their business, and have since booked more projects, with several others in the pipeline.

You can do more with Papergraphics.

“Papergraphics have given us so much support in helping us get to grips with this new area for our business. We’re 'really' grateful to *Barry for all his advice and encouragement. The training was superb! And’ we’re 'really' excited about getting more wallcovering projects in now.”
